Mull-based singer-songwriter Sorren Maclean releases an EP, ‘Way Back Home’.
Maclean is currently supporting Idlewild on tour – fronted, of course, by fellow Tobermory-based singer Roddy Woomble, having co-written Woomble’s second solo album, The Impossible Song and Other Songs.
He also recorded his debut album, Island, with Colin MacIntyre of Mull Historical Society, as well as playing in a duo with virtuoso guitarist Finlay Wells, working and recording with composer Donald Shaw of Capercaillie, and worked on the soundtracks for the Hebrides TV series, children’s tv show Katie Morag, as well as performing on upcoming releases from Nashville singer Eliza Lynn and King Creosote.
Maclean’s new album Winter Stay Autumn is due for release by summer 2015.
