Soom T & Hilary Brooks have released a 7″ single, ‘We Are The Glasgow Girls’, on the Folk U label (in conjunction with NTS & Pachamama)

It’s the title track for a forthcoming National Theatre of Scotland musical Glasgow Girls which opens on 31 October at the Citizens Theatre, Glasgow.

The musical itself featuring electronic grime from Patricia Panther, reggae-dub from Scots-Asian Rapper Sumati Bhardwaj (MC Soom T), folk/rock from Cora Bissett and additional songs from John Kielty (co-winner of Cameron Mackintosh’s Highland Quest for a New Musical).
