Sons of the Descent release a new single, ‘Physics of Angels’.
On the label founded by Green Man founder Jo Bartlett, Indie Through The Looking Glass, it’s the trio’s first new material of 2019, following up last autumn’s single ‘Knowing Gaze’ and debut album ‘Lazy Glamoour’.
The Edinburgh/Fife-based band consist of Hugh Duggie and Ian White – former Factory Records and Mute artists, who featured in the Wendys, Foil, and Lowlife – and Stephen Evans, who previously traded under the Bendy Toy moniker.
The accompanying video was directed by Grant McPhee, winner of the Edinburgh International Film Festival Audience Award, and director of Scottish post-punk documentary ‘Big Gold Dream’.
