Edinburgh’s Three Sisters pub has launched a new free live music programme, concentrating on local talent four nights per week.

The Cowgate establishment – scene of several Tigerfest shows a few years back – has already begin the free nights which line up as follows:

Sundays see Student Recommended – a four-band bill of local acts.
On Mondays from 9:30pm there’s an Open Mic stage.
Tuesdays will feature live cover bands from 10pm with the likes of Folkin Shenanigans and The Victorian Trout Conspiracy lined up.
Finally, Wednesdays are Bandeoke night. As the name suggests, live band karaoke, and just in case you were uncertain of the joy for the performers and the sheer hell; for the audience, “wannabe rockstars and primadonnas welcome.”
