Edinburgh guitar/drums two-piece Shudder release their self-titled debut album, on cassette and download via Bastion Records.
The seven-track effort, which includes single ‘Scarlet’, forms the band’s first full-length release following a split CD in 2014 with fellow Edinburgh band Sectioned. The album from Connor Doherty (aka Thunder) and Stewart McLachlan (Lightning to you) is taken from live practice-room recordings and mixed to quarter-inch tape.
The cassette edition of the album is available in 3 colours and with a 3-panel fold-out insert, designed by McLachlan with photos by bandmate Doherty, with the cover painting by Louise McLachlan.
