Scoorieboy release a new album, ‘Few Who Stop’.
The duo consist of John Mackie, formerly of Scottish post-punk act Scars, and Rich Elson, ex-Puretone & Oceansize.
The nine tracks were recorded at Elson’s home studio over the last few months, as the two moved in and out of lockdown, transferring files and collaborating remotely.
The two, who both live in South London just a few streets apart, first met when their kids attended the same school together.
When not making music, Elson combines a career in technology with music and building guitars, while Mackie now works as a designer and visual arts creator – which includes making videos for the album’s tracks (and which also includes some Scars archive material).
