Savage Mansion release a new album, ‘Weird Country’, via Lost Map Records.

Initially, an opening slot for Frightened Rabbit at Glasgow’s Barrowland led to Johnny Lynch (Pictish Trail) releasing a single, ‘Do You Say Hello To Your Neighbours?’ on his Lost Map label.

This was followed by an EP and then debut album ‘Revision Ballads’, which came out just over a year ago.

For the new release, singer, songwriter and guitarist Craig Angus – formerly of Perth combo Poor Things – has enlisted a troupe of musicians to help compile his two albums to date, including Andrew Macpherson and Jamie Dubber (Catholic Action), Lewis Orr (Martha Ffion, Space Rocket Garage Band) and Taylor Stewart (Romeo Taylor).

The new 12-track album – recorded in April 2019 in London with producer Chris McCrory – is available to stream or download as well as on limited edition pink 12″ vinyl.
