Sacred Paws release a new single, ‘Almost It’.

It’s the fourth track to be taken from ‘Run Around The Sun – the band’s second album – following ‘Brush Your Hair’, ‘The Conversation’ and ‘How Far’.

The Glasgow-based duo formed in 2014 when guitarist and vocalist Rachel Aggs (also a member of Shopping and Trash Kit) and drummer Eilidh Rodgers’ former band Golden Grrrls disbanded.

The duo then went on to win the 2017 Scottish Album of the Year award with their debut long-player ‘Strike A Match’.

Of the new single, the band say: “‘Almost It’ is about how you’re always striving towards something, but you often don’t notice the things you’ve achieved or the fun you’ve had along the way. It’s about living in the moment, but acknowledging that it can be hard sometimes.”

Album ‘Run Around The Sun’ is available digitally, on CD, LP, and heavyweight green vinyl via the Rock Action store.
