Roddy Woomble releases a new EP ‘Everyday Sun’.

The six tracks include the previous single / title track as well as 17 minute closing piece ‘RW OC Cuttup’, produced in conjunction with London-based cellist and composer Oliver Coates.

Woomble made the record with Idlewild bandmate Andrew Mitchell, blending spoken word with ambient electronica.

“I greatly enjoyed both of Andrew’s instrumental solo albums (under his Andrew Wasylyk moniker), and really liked the idea of trying to read some of my words over his compositions,” says Woomble of the new release.

The EP is available as a digital download or stream as well as on limited edition vinyl and CD.
