Robin Adams releases a new album, ‘One Day’

It’s the sixth album in the space of a decade from the singer/songwriter, his back catalogue including 2013’s ‘Wilt‘ and its follow-up, ‘The Garden‘.

‘One Day’s 10 tracks have already been favourably reviewed by is this music?, while the Glasgow-based musician has received praise from the likes of Ralph McTell, and Ricky Ross, who described him as “best kind of songwriter”.

In 2016 Adams curated and released the compilation album ‘Refugee’, featuring new compositions contributed by the likes of Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy, Richard Dawson, Linda Thompson, Alasdair Roberts and Kathryn Joseph. He has also won The Billy Kelly Songwriting Award and the Burns Song Award.

More recently he has been selected by the Bert Jansch Foundation to contribute to a celebration of the folk legend, ‘Around The World In 80 Plays’, which saw him alongside artists such as Johnny Marr and Richard Thompson.
