Richard Luke – aka Rick Webster, frontman of Unkle Bob (are you still following this?) has released a single, ‘Beachcombing’, from his forthcoming instrumental album.

The singer is temporarily taking a break from vocal-based music due to a problem called muscle tension dysphonia which has lead to a croakiness which he has decided to try to beat by resting his vocal cords.

Having spent time working as a roadie for the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Webster met violinist Amira Bedrush-McDonald and they began work together on what would become forthcoming long-player ‘Voz’, before securing a record / publishing deal with Swedish label 1631 Recordings (who are in partnership with Decca Publishing, home of Max Richter).
