Seas, Starry release an EP, ‘Yell Soundz’.

The lead track, ‘Toft Sands’, was originally recorded for a compilation in 2015 and was inspired by the landscape of Toft, Shetland, near to where one of the members grew up. Like the rest of the EP, it is a home recording, though made more recently than the other three tracks.

The Aberdeen band – Jan, Ross, Chris and Claire – release the four tracks as a follow-up to ‘Tyto Alba’, released almost two years ago.

The band’s next full-length album will be recorded in July 2016, but with the four tunes on ‘Yell Soundz’ being more ambient than the newer material, the quartet decided to release them as a standalone EP.
