On the radio this week…

The Quay Sessions on Radio Scotland (presented by stand-in Phoebe Inglis-Holmes) feature music and conversation with The Countess of Fife – aka Fay Fife in country-flavoured mode – live in session; playing songs from their debut album, ‘Star of the Sea’.

And coincidentally, 6Music’s Marc Riley show, on Thursday 10th November, has archive session tracks from Faye’s ‘other’ band, The Rezillos.

Finally, one that would sit just as well in the ‘Backstage’ section – BBC Introducing in Scotland on Friday 11th November is part of the Introducing Live week happening across the country this weekend. ‘First at Tut’s’ will offer three acts a chance to play live at the legendary Glasgow venue.
There will also be chat with Scottish soul star Joesef – who sold out his debut show at King Tut’s, plus more advice for upcoming artists from representatives of Resonate music conference, Synergy Concerts, and DF Concerts.
