Spare Snare‘s regular weekly Twitter #sparesnarelisteningparty continues… and its reverse chronological order takes us to debut release ‘Live At Home‘. Join the band and hit ‘Play’ from 8pm.

Scottish indie-related tell of possible interest this Monday at 8.30pm – the premiere of film ‘Days of the Bagnold Summer‘ takes place from 8.30pm, followed by a Q&A with director Simon Bird, hosted by Edith Bowman. The film itself features a Belle and Sebastian soundtrack, and stars Monica Dolan and Earl Cave (yes, Nick’s boy).

Also on a busy Monday, there’s the chance to see ‘In The Meantime Before Failure – Postcard 2‘ – a film about Edwyn Collins, Nectarine No.9, James King, Teenage Fanclub and Paul Quinn, which never actually materialised. However, it’s available to view for 24 hours… meaning if you get your skates on you might see it before midnight…

The ‘I’m Not Here’ podcast series hosted by John Paul Mason continues the journalist and promoter’s chats with music industry figures, following his three-part interview with The Twilight Sad’s James Graham. Featured this time is a familiar face to Glasgow gig-goers – Dave McGeachan, of DF Concerts and King Tut’s. It’ll be online from Tuesday evening at iTunes or Spotify where you’ll also find a chat with sound engineer Rachel Ryan – follow future episodes at @ImNotHerePod.

And on the web, on Wednesday 10th, from 10pm, #TimsTwitterListeningParty sees Tim Burgess and whatever members of Idlewild aren’t busy analyse ‘100 Broken Windows’.
