On Monday 17th August Auntie Flo features on Vic Galloway’s Radio Scotland show in an archive session from before the Glasgow-based musician won the 2019 SAY Award with album ‘Radio Highlife’ – that’s from 9pm.
There’s an archive session from Idlewild on this week’s Radio Scotland’s Quay Sessions, plus a similar live set by Rachel Dadd and chat from Billy Lockett and Sea Girls – that’s on Wednesday 19th August from 8pm.
This week that nice Tim Burgess is featuring a few Scottish records in his #TimsTwitterListeningParty series – on Wednesday, August 19th at 9pm we get Biffy Clyro‘s brand new album ‘A Celebration of Endings’, and then an hour later, it’s 16 years earlier as the guys pick over the bones of 2004’s ‘Infinity Land’.
And on Friday 21st, it’s the turn of Glasvegas, and their 2011 ‘Euphoric Heartbreak’ – from 9:00 PM, all at timstwitterlisteningparty.com.
And in case you missed it, last week’s Quay Sessions featured Simon Neil of Biffy Clyro, Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol, and Justin Currie, all joining Roddy Hart remotely.
