Radio, TV and websites fizz back into life following the festive hiatus, starting on Monday 4th January, when Dancing on Tables, Home$lice, Rascalton, Emily Burns, Shambolics, Retro Video Club and The Duntsfeature on Rapal on BBC Radio Alba – that’s from 7pm.

And in case you missed it last week you can catch up on BBC Alba’s telly documentary God Save The Quine – focusing on Scotland’s female musicians including chat with Annie Lennox, Barbara Dickson, Sharleen Spiteri, Eddie Reader, Clare Grogan, Lorraine Mcintosh, KT Tunstall, Emma Pollock, Amy McDonald, Lauren Mayberry, Be Charlotte and Kitti.

Similarly, Constant Follower were featured on the Scotsman Sessions – the paper’s series of online/lockdown short homestreamed sets. The band play a version of new track ‘Weave of the World’ which will presumably appear on their forthcoming Kramer-produced album ‘Neither is, nor ever was’ for ShimmyDisc, due in March.
