This week on’t wireless…
On Tuesday’s Afternoon Show on Radio Scotland, Nicola Meighan has Constant Follower in session following the release of their acclaimed debut album ‘Neither Is, Nor Ever’, from 1.30pm.
Lauren Laverne’s 6music show on Wednesday 13th (7.30 – 10.30am) features chat with Primal Scream mainman Bobby Gillespie, who has a new book out, ‘Tenement Kid’. Also, journalist Kirstin Innes will feature on the show, talking about her new book ‘Brickwork’, inspired by Glasgow’s legendary Arches nightclub.
Also, not all that music-related, but on Thursday, Scottish actor Mark Bonnar will be on the show talking about the new series of ‘Guilt’. Which did include a plotline about a Leith Walk record shop burning down, to be fair.
Back to Wednesday and on Marc Riley’s 6music show (7pm), there’s chat with Stuart Braithwaite out of Mogwai, who is the subject of this week’s Gagging Order.
And on Thursday 14th, Tim Burgess features Texas (!) as part of his Twitter Listening Party series – the band’s new album ‘Hi’ gets the tweet treatment, from 7pm.
