Also on BBC Radio Scotland on Wednesday*8pm) The Quay Sessions has Mogwai in session as well as host Roddy Hart in conversation with the band’s Stuart Braithwaite. And, also from Mogwai’s Rock Action label, a live set from Sacred Paws.

BBC Radio Nan Gaidheal’s Rapal on Wednesday from 7pm sees host Janice Ann Anderson chat to Cromarty -based singer-songwriter Tamzene about her new EP ‘Home Tapes’.
