Quietly Into The Night release their debut single, ‘Moving Static’, as a download via Bandcamp.

Premiered on Los Angeles’ DKFM Shoegaze Radio, the Gourock-based band have released the track in lieu of a planned EP, its recording stymied by the Covid outbreak.

“‘Moving Static’ is a song about communication and being held back by the past,” they say of the new track – “from TV, to space and computers from the eighties.”

The trio – Marky Anderson (vocals/guitar), Gram Allan (drums) and Steven Stewart (bass) – have performed in a variety of bands over the years, but have come together for this release thanks to their common love of shoegaze and post-rock, drawing from influences such as Nirvana, Dinosaur Jr, My Bloody Valentine and Mogwai.
