Primes release a new single, ‘Nine Lives’.
The Glasgow-formed trio – Ollie Kitchen, Sarah Monteith-Skelton and Reece Ryan – recorded the new track with Mark Morrow in Edinburgh.
Of the single, the band said: “Nine Lives is in relation to making the same mistakes and never learning from them. Eventually, there won’t be another chance.”
Next live show for the band is on July 21st as part of King Tut’s Summer Nights with Chris Greig & The Merchants also on the bill.
The band then have sets planned at Butefest the following weekend and then Linlithgow’s Party at the Palace in August.
Jockrock says: “An ear for a catchy chorus, chunky beats, neat boy-girl harmonies and some snarly guitar work nose this trio ahead of a very crowded pop-punk pack”.
