Port Sulphur release a new split single – ‘Orient Express’ and ‘Hope / ‘Less’.
The combo have in the pas worked with the likes of Vic Godard and Davy Henderson, and this time the lead track features James Kirk.
The former Orange Juice man sings, plays guitars, and co-wrote the track, which is, we’re told, a “rumination on the poems of Li Po”.
The track also features harmonica from the Bluebells’ Ken McCluskey.
‘B-side’ ‘Hope / Less’ is a collaboration with another Creeping Bent-affiliated act – the late Alan Vega with the Revolutionary Corps of Teenage Jesus.
