Port Sulphur release a new single ‘Olive Avenue’, available as a free download.

Taken from the debut album ‘Compendium,’ released via Strathaven-based independent label The Creeping Bent Organisation, the track also comes with a non-album bonus tune, ‘Green Water’.

Port Sulphur is a studio-driven collaborative project helmed by producer Douglas MacIntyre (The Nectarine No9 / Sexual Objects), with ‘Compendium’ following a string of singles and EPs as well as 2018’s full-length release ‘Paranoic Critical’.

The current album features a series of guest musicians based at Glasgow’s Green Door studios, plus some familiar names including Alan Vega (Suicide), Vic Godard (Subway Sect), Gareth Sager (The Pop Group), Davy Henderson (Fire Engines / Sexual Objects), James Kirk (Orange Juice), and Postcard Records’ punk-poet Jock Scot.

‘Olive Avenue’ – a reworking of the album version, with Jay Stansfield of former Bent act Transelement on vocals- is available now along with an extra track, ‘Green Water’ – a draft / work in progress take on a track that will appear on the next album which features Samuel Joseph Smith, once of Casual Sex / Mother and the Addicts. Both tracks can be downloaded for free at www.creepingbent.net.
