Plume of Feathers release an EP, ‘No Tabs’, as a download (and stream) via Tourist Info Records.
The band – Paul Tierney of Lonely Tourist and Odeon Beat Club fame – plus bandmates, messrs Webb, Price and Evans.
Like their self-titled debut long-player, the new release is themed around pubs, although apart from the title track the EP contains tracks entitled ‘Bagpuss’ and ‘The Watchyman’.
Closing tune ‘Lock In’ (Ruin Mix) is penned by Tierney and Webb along with former Odeon Beat Club man Graham Lang.
The band come to Scotland for a couple of shows and aptly, the part Scots, part-English ensemble play at Edinburgh’s Wee Red Bar on Friday November 11th – it’s an early show as later that evening the crucial Auld Enemy / World Cup qualifier takes place at Wembley.
They also play Glasgow’s Glad Cafe on Sunday 13th.
