Philip Joseph Rae releases a new single ‘Christmas Sings’, on KFM Records.

It’s the follow-up to his debut from mid-October, the David Jack-recorded ‘Three Drunken Brothers’.

The release of a festive tune may come as no surprise to those who know Rae’s background – with his strict Mormon upbringing in the north-east of Scotland, Christmas has always held a special place in the heart of the singer-songwriter.

As a child, his head adorned with a tea towel bound with his father’s tie, he would regale the congregation with renditions of ‘Little Donkey’ and ‘Silent Night’.

Rae himself has expressed “a positive longing for the true meaning of Christmas in these tough times: Family, Togetherness and Compassion.”
