Paul Vickers and The Leg release an album, ‘The Greengrocer’.
The 11-track from the former Dawn of the Replicants frontman, and sundry former Khaya types (Dan Mutch and Pete Harvey), also includes a contribution from King Creosote – whose Alter Ago label has put out the release in collaboration with Pumpkintone – but not regular Leg drummer Alun Thomas (in moustachioed absentia”).
Louis XIV of France is similarly absent on account of his being deceased. The release is, however (as far as can be ascertained from the sleevenotes) concept piece about The Sun King’s love of aubergines.

The band play Edinburgh’s Citrus Club on 22nd of May, andthere are plans for an album launch at West Craigie Farm with a pick-your-own veg option.
