Paper Rifles release a new EP, ‘Headstrong’.

Recorded in isolation, the four tracks features all four members of the Edinburgh-based act, with individual parts mixed by James from the band.

Before also being joined by Kevin and Kieran, the quartet began as a solo project of former Curators frontman Jon Dick, who said: “Rather than sit bored/go mad, we’ve been working away writing and recording.”

The resultant release – ‘White Flag’, ‘Get Your Gun’ and ‘The End of History’ as well as the title track – is available as a download, with proceeds from the EP – priced at £3, or more if you like – going to Health In Mind (www.health-in-mind.org.uk).

‘Headstrong’ is taken from the quartet’s forthcoming second long-player ‘Traitor’s Hill’, due out later this year.
