One More Grain release their third album ‘Grain Fever’, as a digital Bandcamp download with a 2×12” vinyl release to follow.

The duo – London-based Andrew Blick (trumpet, electronics, insects etc) and Daniel Patrick Quinn (voice, violin, guitars, harmonica, percussion, microwave etc) – recorded the nine-track album between a cottage near Stornoway airport, and west London.

Blick has appeared on many releases since the 1990s, as well as 2014’s Ivor Novello award winning soundtrack to ‘The Epic of Everest’, composed by Simon Fisher Turner. He also records and performs with Gyratory System and will be playing live with David Gedge this year as part of his Cinerama project. And, he is an author – of ‘How To Go To War’as well as the brand new ‘Beyond Magna Carta’.

Quinn founded One More Grain in 2006 before moving to Java, Indonesia, their two releases including One More Grain. Previously, Quinn released a solo album ‘Ridin’ the Stang’, probably also familiar to readers of is this music?
