OK Button release a new single, ‘Grenade’.

The new tune from the Scottish synth-pop trio, Amber Wilson, Nass Donald and Adam Falkner. follows up previous single, ‘Flesh & Blood’.

The band formed when Wilson – vocalist with Bombay Bicycle Club and Morcheeba – was spotted performing an acoustic set in her native Aberdeen when Falkner, drummer with One Eskimo and Babyshambles, chanced upon her show. The duo then teamed up with multi-instrumentalist Nass and writer/producer Craigie Dodds (Amy Winehouse, Gorillaz, Sugababes).

Of the new single, Wilson says: “Grenade is about finding the strength to leave a destructive relationship. It’s a battle between head and heart; whether to fight for love and respect or to keep repeating destructive patterns because they’re familiar. We wanted Grenade to sonically match the toughness of the subject matter so went for a grittier vibe on this track which we love.”

The band have been announced for this year’s The Great Escape festival, playing on May 10th.
