Numantra releases a new 7″ single, ‘For Myself’.
Also available as a Bandcamp download, the vinyl version will contain B-side ‘That’s Life’, which is exclusive to the physical release.
The project is the work of Ross Marshall, from Bo’ness, and the lead track is, he says, “a positive look back at the troubles I faced as a teenager and aims to promote good mental health”.
Marshall has paired up with the SAMH charity (Scottish Association for Mental Health) to release 10 copies on transparent, numbered vinyl with all proceeds going directly to the charity as a donation.
Both songs were self-written, performed, recorded and mixed before being mastered by Jamie Savage at Chem19, with drums on ‘For Myself’ by Alex Brodie of Linlithgow act Skelfs.
