Nico Ev releases her debut single ‘Hunter’.

The singer-songwriter, based in Glasgow, is more used to hosting regular music nights, showcasing local talent with guest artists each week, as well as performing a Celtic Connections live set, broadcast on Celtic Music Radio

However, unable to perform live due to the current restrictions, Ev has concentrated on live streaming, including Isolation Music Festival, Glasgow Live, Shed Sessions Dublin, Discovery Music Scotland, Balcony Sessions, Songwriters Guild, and The Braw and the Brave Podcast.

She has also spent time recording her debut EP, with ‘Hunter’ the first fruit from these sessions.

Ev performs vocals and guitar on the track, while Beth Porter contributes cello. Mastered by Dennis Blackham, the single also features Jack Henderson – who recently released his own sophomore album ‘Where’s The Revolution?’ – on production and mixing duties as well as additional instrumentation.
