Neil Milton releases an EP entitled ‘Singing As You Leave’ via his Too Many Fireworks label.

The former Troika guitarist, who has also worked as a member of The Frozen North and Heads Down Thumbs Up, emigrated to Warsaw, Poland in 2010, but after a hiatus, restarted work on music from his new base, composing and record modern-classical music and experimental, ambient soundscapes.

He has released several records on Manchester’s Valentine Records and remixed bands such as VLMV, Flies are Spies from Hell, and Worriedaboutsatan.

Milton’s musical career began with Troika in 1999, who split in 2005. He joined the Varsovian post-rock band, The Frozen North from 2014 to 2016, but in 2017, made his solo debut with a single ‘You Are The Summer’.

‘Singing As You Leave’, the lead and title track from the new EP, covers Brexit from a foreign perspective, while ‘Local Fan’ is a tribute to Milton’s father and their shared love for Airdrie FC.

Available on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, and most digital services, the five tracks were recorded mostly at home in Warsaw, including ‘Bird Sanctuary’, featuring Aga Olek on violin.
