The Muldoons release a single, ‘Lovely Things’ / ‘Rub It In’.
The Paisley quintet launch the two-tracks with a headline show at King Tuts Summer Nights on Sunday July 22.
The band were a fixture on the Scottish indie music scene from the early 1990s, but after releasing self-financed cassette singles they called it a day in 1996.
Just over 20 years later they were persuaded to play a one-off gig at the Bungalow in their home town Paisley. The gig was a sell out and they agreed to come back and support Inspiral Carpets’ Tom Hingley.
This was followed by a sellout headline at King Tuts in January 2018 and the show’s success led them to record again.
The Muldoons are currently touring with the ‘classic’ line up of Gerry Mullen,Bobby Corrigan, Andy McPake,Greg Bolland, andDavy Brook.
