Well, a bit of a rushed guide this week, but here goes… on Wed 3rd at Aberdeen’s The Tunnels, the San Franciscan, Wooden Ships-related Moon Duo with support from His Name is Codeine and Kitchen Cynics. Promoted by those lovely people at Interesting Promotions again.
Busier times in Edinburgh on Friday – Ladykiller Caterpillar play Sneaky Pete’s while Quiet as a Mouse are at the Voodoo Room.
Glasgow is similarly well-served for music on friday 6th with the Pet Shop Boys at the Armadillo, Gruff Rhys at the ABC, Holy Esque at Stereo and Junkmans Choir plug their new album at King Tut’s. Marginally further afield, A New International are at the Glad Cafe in Shawlands, and down the A77, the Live at Troon mini-fest sees Colonel Mustard and the Dijon 5 hit the coast
And goodness me, more rock’n’roll fun on Saturday, as Birdhead are at the Electric Circus, and Loki play Henrys.
Oh, for anyone in that London, the Scared to Dance clubnight is having a
‘Scottish Special‘ on Saturday.
So, something of a deflated end to the weekend with the only shows of real note being Pearl Jam or The Saturdays in Glasgow (and I can’t even be bothered finding out where these are taking place. Roll on next weekend…
