Mogwai‘s new album is the soundtrack to French TV series ‘Les Revenants’. It’s as ever on their own Rock Action label, and follows up a four-track selection of music from the zombie-themed programme, which appeared as a limited 10″ EP late last year.

The Canal+ series is the second time the band have soundtracked a French subject, following 2006’s A 21st Century Portrait, the documentary made by Douglas Gordon. The band have also contributed to Clint Mansell’s award-nominated score for The Fountain.
