Minerva Wakes release their debut album ‘Mirrored Moon’, via the Traffic Cone label.

Previously trailed last August with single ‘Tell Me‘, the Fife duo’s 11-track long-player is available now as a download or CD.

The album is the electronic side project of Jo and Nicky D’arc, of sister duo The Twistettes, whose most recent release was the lockdown set ‘Live At Capture Works‘.

However, the pair’s electronic project, rather than their usual punk-oriented bass and drums setup, instead mixes triphop with, as they describe it, “a twist of glitchy psychedelia.”

The album is part of a multi-artform project that will also include a short-story and visual art aspect developing the tale of the Goddess, with each song or section of the story being associated with an image, with those abstract photography pieces now available as A4 prints.

The short story will be published by Wordville alongside a selection of Jo D’arc’s poetry.

The album has already received a 'Mirrored Moon' by Minerva Wakes“>five star review at isthismusic.com.
