Midnight Alleys release a new single, ‘Broken Ties & Stolen Lines’

The follow-up to January’s ‘Sick Clown’ is available to download now, and is their fourth single, the quintet having released two singles; ‘You’ll Be Just Fine’ and ‘So It Goes’ before signing to indie label Deadly Records and music publishers Free Construction Music.

The Dundee act – Neil Morrison (lead vocals/guitar), Matthew Kermally (lead guitar), George Mackenzie (bass), Fabio Whyte (keys/vocals) and Ben Connelly (drums), formed late in 2017 and since then have played headline gigs in Glasgow, Dundee and Manchester, as well as supporting the likes of The Wedding Present, and Matt Hollywood & the Bad Feelings (ex The Brian Jonestown Massacre).

Alongside the support from countless radio stations including Michael Bradley (The Undertones, BBC Foyle) requesting to be the first to play their last track ‘Sick Clown’ as well as this new one “Broken Ties & Stolen Lines”,

Vocalist Neil Morrison says the single – recorded at Stage 2000 and produced by Neil Morrison and Stuart Hanna – “is about a man struggling with his inner self in an ever demanding and judging world and society and overcoming this with his desire to fight to succeed.”
