Memes release their latest single ‘So What’ on Fierce Panda Records.

The track, available to stream or download, is taken from a forthcoming self-titled EP for the label due for release on November 20th.

It’s their third release for the London label following ‘Cheer Up

The duo style themselves as ME and ME – “because we’re selfish genes” – but going under the names of John McLinden and Paul McLinden when forming in Glasgow in 2019, playing several gigs in their home city and London, and performing a BBC live session for Steve Lamacq before signing to the long-established indie label.

Of the new track, the band confess to never listening to a song more than half way through, though ‘So What’ itself clocks in at a mere 103 seconds.

The duo have another single, ‘Oll Korrect’, due for release in late October.
