Medicine Men release their second album ‘A Different Port’, via Last Night From Glasgow.

The 10-track sophomore effort from the Glasgow-based band is the follow up to 2017’s debut ‘Into the Light’.

Including 2019 singles ‘Getaway Driver’ and ‘Back on Board’, the album was recorded at Toy Town in Craigie, Ayrshire, and engineered and mixed by Gordon McNeil before being mastered by Felix Davis at Metropolis.

The quartet – Marc MacCallum, Stephen Forbes, Michael McGeoch, and Ian Mackinnon – were joined by vocalists Joni Bennet on ‘Getaway Driver’ and Jess Hufton on ‘Bad Luck Burden’, as well as Bombskare and Yoko Pwno’s Calum Mackie Cummins, who played saxophone on Change My Mind’.

Three-quarters of the band can be heard discussing the album on David Blair’s 23 Universe show, while they also provide a track-by-track piece on the LP for Tenement TV.

‘A Different Port’ is available on limited edition vinyl, CD and download from the Last Night From Glasgow online store, and can be streamed via Spotify.
