Steve Mason, Berth Orton and The Phantom Band are among the big names for this year’s Howlin’ Fling festival, which takes place on the Hebridean island of Eigg on the weekend of July 18-20.

The three-day event is the brainchild of Johnny Lynch akaThe Pictish Trail, who moved to Eigg and set up the new Lost Map label following his departure from Fence Records.

All the acts signed to Lost Map, including Kid Canaveral, Randolph’s Leap, Monoganon, eagleowl, and The Pictish Trail will play, alongside Mason and Orton plus Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard, Meursault, Jens Lekman, Jonnie Common, RM Hubbert and Miracle Strip plus Lynch’s metal side project Massacre Cave.
