De Rosa’s Martin John Henry is to release a solo album with a difference.

Firstly, it’s not just the one album – there will be a series of twelve of them over the next 12 months.

And, each will be in a limited edition of one copy, available to the highest bidder.

Available via auction, the first edition of the new ‘One-Offs’ project will see the lucky winning bid receiving one CDR containing 30 minutes of improvised music performed by the recently-reformed act’s frontman.

Each auction will commence on the first of the month on eBay with bids starting at £10.00. The first of these is now under way, with 12 bidders having pushed the price up to £52.

Henry promises that “the CD will be issued in an edition of one only”, adding “No other copies will ever be produced of the entire 30 minute recording.”

There is good news however, for anyone missing out – an album-length montage of “best bits” will be released for general sale as a Martin John Henry album – “If we’re all still here.”
