Maranta release a new single, ‘Miss Dupé’, on Leith’s New Teeth label.

“Like all good synth groups, Maranta are a duo” – formed by Edinburgh-based pair Callum Govan and Gloria Black in 2019.

The band began by playing various music festival stages in Scotland before releasing their debut single ‘Radiate’.

This was followed by an EP, ‘Care ii Cure’, with the act also appearing on Paradise Palms’ ‘Bonnie Tropical 4’ compilation.

Their first new music of 2021 comes on Leith’s New Teeth label, which has also released music from Astroturf Inspector, The Micro Band, and most recently, the debut by EARfATHER.

‘Miss Dupé’ was mixed by Govan, along with Dave Lloyd, who mastered the track, which is available to download.
