The Live at Leeds metropolitan festival is to expand its operations to Glasgow, in an effective ‘merger’ with Stag and Dagger.
The UK festival award-winner, now in its eighth year, will utilise Sauchiehall Street venues, like the five-year-old Stag and Dagger, the Sauchiehall Crawl and various other multi-venue events over the past years. Sunday May 3rd is the date slated for what will be a similar event to the Leeds version, and on the same weekend, although the Scottish version will be on a smaller scale. There will also be other events in the lead-up to the main, wristbanded mini-fest.
Live at Leeds in 2014 featured over 200 acts in 15 venues, including Albert Hammond Jr, Forward Russia!, Feck Buttons, I Like Trains, Royal Blood, The Hold Steady as well as Nina Nesbitt.
