Lazy Day release an EP, ‘Ribbons’, on Eigg-based label Lost Map.
The London quartet’s release follows up (and includes) the PostMap postcard single ‘With My Mind’, which itself followed the now sold-out Record Store Day 2015 split 7” single with labelmates Tuff Love, ‘Portait’ / ‘Groucho’.
The band initially began as a 2014 bedroom solo project of Tilly Scantlebury but expanded to include drummer Beni Evans, guitarist Liam Hoflay and newest member bassist Jake Head.
‘Ribbons’ was recorded by Bottle Rocket Recording at The Crows’ Nest Studios, mixed by Adrian Hall (Anna Calvi/Goldfrapp) at Clever Pup Studios and mastered by Andy ‘Hippy’ Baldwin at Metropolis.
It’s available on 10” vinyl plus Spotify, Apple Music and all other major streaming services.
The band undertake their first UK headline tour including Scottish dates as follows:
