Neo-classical post-metal pioneers Lapsus Linguae have re-emerged after a 10-year release hiatus with a three-track single, ‘Ghosts’.

The band used a crowdfunding campaign to produce 300 heavyweight picture discs with all the backers thanked in an insert, which, as well as a download code, comes with the 12″. 130 people backed the project with the remainder of the singles now available for general sale. The sleeve artwork was designed by band member Penelope Collegefriend.

The new EP also includes a new slower version of ‘Parade’, the band’s debut for Fierce Panda, with new vocals recorded recently (the musical arrangements having been committed to tape in 2006 and 2007).

The three tunes are also available as mp3s via the bandcamp site, where the band’s entire back catalogue (well, pretty much) is available for download. This includes the Fierce Panda mini-album You Got Me Fraiche, as well as the band’s self-released debut on their own Johnston Family label.
