The Ladywell Lout releases his second full lengther, ‘After The Float Rush’.

Billed as (probably) the world’s only galaday concept album, the mix of songs, showground sound samples and spoken word passages mixed in with synthetic noise effects attempts to document and celebrate that most curious of rural celebrations – the fairs, marches, festivals and indeed galas that occur every summer in many Scottish towns.

The 50-minute 11-track CD comes as a limited edition ‘gala bag’ CD pack and follows 2014’s debut album ‘Gadgies and Radges’, which was a solo effort – whereas the new release includes guest vocals from David Pope (the Just Joans), and spoken word extracts from small town Scotland novel ‘Ham Oan Piece’.
