Frightened Rabbit’s Scott Hutchison headlines the 7th annual Kintyre Songwriters Festival.
He joins Pete MacLeod – who was recently signed to Alan McGee in a management deal – at the Campbeltown event which takes place on the 23rd/24th/25th of May.

The Songwriters Festival began in 2008 as a tribute to local singer-songwriter Kenneth Campbell Gilchrist whose idea the event was whic has since seen guests including Rachel Sermanni, Emma’s Imagination, Ivan Drever, Panda Su, Amber Wilson (Bombay Bicycle Club), Genesse and top Scottish blues artist Dave Arcari visit the peninsula.

Also on this year’s bill are Siobhan Wilson, Zoe Bestel,Tommy Reilly,CS Buchan, Sophie Rogers, Adam Fortune, The Twisted Melons, David Fee, A New Hope?, The Wild Sarachs and A Horse Called Juan Face.
