Florida-born singer-songwriter Kim Logan releases a new, nine track album, ‘Shadow Work’.
Now partly based in Glasgow, Logan previously spent seven years in the Nashville scene collaborating with the team behind Jack White and Third Man Records, but now lives between Glasgow and working with her Parisian band the Silhouettes – consisting of Martin Zissel, Jules Darmon, Myriam Stamoulis, Alexys Collard, Victor Méchanick, and Tom Liam Bourcier.
Her second album was recorded in 2020 in Glasgow at Solas Sound with Duncan McLaren (who also contributes percussion), as well as at Cherry Tone Studios in Folkestone in England.
The songs were then mixed by and mastered in Nashville by Mike Fahey and Dan Bacigalupi respectively.
Including recent single ‘Oedipus Wrecks’, the nine tracks are available on vinyl as well as to download at Bandcamp, as well as via the usual streaming suspects.
