Kev Sherry & Low Fruit release a debut single, ‘Wasted Days’

That said, it’s far from the debut release from Sherry – the frontman of Attic Lights, who have released three albums and well over a dozen singles during their 15-year existence.

The new material was recorded during a hiatus in the activities of his regular band – Attic Lights’ most recent, third album, ‘Love In The Time Of Shark Attacks’ was released January 2019 on Elefant Records.

The new single from Sherry comes from a forthcoming debut album, recorded with Paul Savage, using, we’re told, a guitar borrowed from Tracyanne Campbell of Cammera Obscura, and a bass loaned by Teenage Fanclub drummer Francis MacDonald.

The long-player – ‘Foxy Orthodoxy’ – is scheduled for release later this year, though in the meantime there may be another single this spring/summer, as well as a split 7″ with Astrid on Edwyn Collins’s Badbea label.
