Singer-songwriter Katherine Aly releases a single, ‘The Skin I’m Made Of’, via Infinite Hive Music.
Originally from Greece, Aly – Alysandratou to her mum – has settled in Edinburgh and as well as being lead singer with shoegaze band, Lilac Melt, has also become involved with the Hidden Door Festival.
She has also collaborated with False Bliss, as well as other UK-based musicians and bands, including Baby Taylah, Glassmasterer, Midi Paul and Sheltering Waves.
The single was recorded and mixed by Graeme Young at Chamber Studio, who also produced the track with Aly and Bruce Wallace – the latter also contributing guitar, while Rob Harrison played piano.
The single is launched in Edinburgh, at The Mash House Upstairs venue, on Friday 17th May, doors at 7.30pm.
