Katee Kross releases a new album ‘Show Your Hand’.

Her fourth long-player in four years, it’s an independent release but funded by Creative Scotland, and features guitar from long-time collaborator Ross Barron.

“There is an edge to it,” the 22-year-old singer said of the new release. “This is our fourth full album now and there was a desire among us all to really push the boundaries.

“There is always a temptation to play it safe; to go with what works – but that’s never been us. We’re all different people from when we started out and the way we write and play has changed along with that.”

The album’s launch show is at the Webster Theatre in Glasgow on February 22. A few days later the pair travel south to play Nashville Meets London, with a slot at the Buckles and Boots Country Festival in Manchester later in the year.
